F&M Bank now offers Verified by Visa^® on your F&M Bank Visa check card.  Verified by Visa is a new service that offers you added safety by helping ensure that only you use your F&M Bank Visa check card to make purchases online.

How It Works
Take your F&M Bank Visa check card you already use, add a password to confirm online purchases, and you’ve got Verified by Visa.  Of course Visa always protects you against unauthorized purchases online.  But now, by using your Verified by Visa password, you can help prevent unauthorized purchases before they happen.

What’s Your Password?  Sign Up Today
In order to take advantage of the added protection the Verified by Visa service has to offer, you must sign up here. Next, simply enter your F&M Bank Visa check card number to get started.  Once your identity has been confirmed, you will be asked to create a unique password (6-10 characters, at least 1 alpha and one numeric, case sensitive).  Should you forget your password, Verified by Visa will provide a "hint" that you supply during registration.  As another security measure, you will be asked to create a personal message (1-30 characters) that will guarantee you are actually dealing with Verified by Visa and not an impersonator asking for your password and F&M Bank Visa check card information.

Shopping At Participating Online Stores
Once your F&M Bank Visa check card is activated, your card number will be recognized whenever you purchase at participating online stores.  You'll enter your password in the Verified by Visa window, your identity will be verified, and the transaction will be completed.  In stores that are not yet participating in Verified by Visa, your F&M Bank Visa check card will continue to work as usual.  Remember, if you do not sign up for the Verified by Visa service with your F&M Bank Visa check card, you will not be able to use this card to purchase at participating online stores.  Look for the Verified by Visa symbol displayed at your favorite online store.

With Verified by Visa you can use your F&M Bank Visa check card to shop with added safety from any computer that has Internet access.*  Best of all, it's a unique password that you created!
